My name is Spiros Plessas, born and grew up in Zakynthos Island.
I have lived (studied and worked as a civil engineer) in Athens for some years, but the crazy daily rhythm of the big city is not for me.
I came back to my roots, with a vision: to rediscover my home Island, to find the alternative and the authentic.
Since 2015, I have been studying and finding unique tracks, all around Zakynthos.
My interest is not only about hiking or biking. It's also about history, local society, culture, tradition, flora, and fauna. And all this information I share and exchange with you during our explorations.
Alternative tourism in Zakynthos is still a baby. I hope and I will try my best so that it will grow, and more people will be interested in visiting the less known and less touristic places of the island.
Hiking is something we love, not only because it empties (in a good way) our -all the time creative- minds, but also because we communicate so nice with the people we walk together.
